About us

Kitsap Life Academy was created in 2021 to support families who want more than academics alone, they want their children prepared for life. Rooted in outdoor education, Montessori principles, and experiential learning, KLA offers children meaningful work, time in nature, and hands-on experiences that build confidence, competence, and connection. Learning is active and purposeful, shaped by the rhythms of the land and the developmental needs of each child.

KLA is a homeschool enrichment program designed to sit intentionally between a traditional co-op and a full-time private school. Families remain firmly rooted in homeschooling while their children participate in consistent, multi-day programming that provides structure, community, and deep engagement. We work alongside families to nurture capable, resilient learners through meaningful work, strong community, and purposeful experiences.
